Wallaby is a Tiki-inspired cocktail bar - an exotic destination designed for fun, relaxation, and gathering with friends. The challenge was to create a striking design filled with tropical elements while maintaining a balanced atmosphere. We wanted the interior to feel extravagant but not overwhelming, ensuring guests could truly unwind with a cocktail after a long workday. Despite the modest budget, we successfully brought a captivating Tiki aesthetic to life.

Tiki is an expressive style that celebrates tropical culture. Our concept leans into these exotic vibes, using a color palette dominated by rich, dark shades. The space is layered with tropical plants, natural wood, and exotic accents, all merged with contemporary details like vibrant neon lighting. For an added touch of playfulness, we placed a witty quote on the bathroom wall - guaranteed to bring a smile to any guest’s face.

The centerpiece of the interior is our favorite, one-of-a-kind element: the fully illuminated bar counter. The light casts silhouettes of tropical plants, immediately drawing the eye and setting the mood. Complementing this, the white shelving behind the bar mimics the look of ice, creating the cool impression that the bottles are resting on a frozen surface.
